A Vision for future players :

Graham is passionate about helping young talented rugby league players find a career within the code. His love of the game and his impressive career stats allow him to pass on to future players many skills and insights that have assisted him in dealing with situations both on and off the field. The importance of playing team sports and the many life skills that can be gained from learning to work with other members of a team are the building blocks of life.

Graham Eadie's Early Days

1953 - 1959 Graham lived in Lidcombe in the Western Suburbs of Sydney with his Mum and Dad (Colin and Joan Eadie), brother Keith and Grandparents Lou and Peg Christopherson.

1960 - 1970 Graham lived in Woy Woy Central Coast and played a number of sports (Rugby League, Cricket, Soccer) before deciding to play Rugby League.

1968 Graham was too heavy to play in the Junior League (weight division) but was allowed to sit on the bench for the Under 17's even though he was only 14. This proved to be a great experience as he learnt the basic fundamentals of the game from coach Ron Derley.

1969 Graham played in the Under 16's competition in which his club Woy Woy won the premiership.

1970 Graham started in the under 16's team until the 1st grade centre broke his leg which elevated Graham to this position. Graham was only 16, however, he was lucky to have John Shortland (A former South Sydney Lower Grader) as captain / coach and inside centre who taught him a lot and looked after him on and off the field. Graham also acknowledges the whole team's genuine concern for his welfare. Graham's team won the competition that year and was approached by Cronulla Saints and Manly Sea Eagles. He chose to go to Manly. Graham turned 17 in November 1970 and went to Sydney to begin his NRL career and his 12 tests for the Kangaroos.
